CLARE  GRADY  SPRUANCE believes that a successful interior design project begins and ends with a harmonious collaboration between the client and her team. From the initial architectural drawings, Clare approaches each project with fresh eyes, incorporating her clients’ design aspirations, as well as practical and function requirements unique to every project.

Clare hopes to create beautiful, highly-functional spaces for her clients and their families. She strives to incorporate modern and contemporary references into her traditional designs.

Clare’s academic background provides the optimal tool kit for a project imbued with historical references with the highest knowledge of current technologies and platforms available to the industry.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.

Before launching her firm, Clare trained for eight years under many storied interior design firms, notably, AD 100 listed Cullman & Kravis Associates, and Markham Roberts Inc., where she held a senior role for three years.

In 2025, Clare launched her eponymous firm, a full-scale interior design firm based in New York City. She is currently working on projects in New York, Florida, and Delaware.
